Dipingere Come Mangi

"Dipingere Come Mangi" was my first solo show featuring seven of my artworks (5 acrylic paintings & 2 watercolors). The inspiration behind the title stems from an Italian expression I encountered during my time abroad: "Parla come mangi," meaning speak as you eat. It's a gentle reminder to keep things straightforward and honest, much like the act of enjoying a simple meal. Thus, for my collection of pieces, I've chosen the title "Dipingere Come Mangi," or paint as you eat. This title not only reflects the theme of Italian cuisine prevalent throughout my work but also encapsulates the artistic process behind it. In creating these paintings, I embraced a more decisive approach, focusing on simplicity rather than getting lost in intricate details, much like savoring a satisfying meal without unnecessary embellishments.
